Akashi Distillery, also known as Eigashima Distillery, is a prominent whisky distillery located in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Established in 1984, it holds the distinction of being the first distillery in Japan to obtain a license to produce whisky under the revised regulations of the Japanese Whisky Industry Law.

Situated near the coast, Akashi Distillery benefits from the unique climate and natural surroundings of the region, which play a significant role in the maturation process of their whiskies.
