The Togouchi Saint Seiya Series is a rare collaboration that unites the craftsmanship of Japanese whisky blending with the legendary Saint Seiya manga and anime universe. Produced by Chugoku Jozo (Sakurao Distillery) in Hiroshima, each release celebrates the courage, constellations, and cosmic energy that define the saga. A Hero’s Journey in Four Chapters

1st Release – The Awakening | The debut edition sets the tone with only 888 bottles crafted and bottled at 46% ABV. Symbolising the beginning of the Saints’ quest, it delivers light fruit, malt warmth, and subtle spice—a refined introduction to the series.

2nd Release – Rising Power | Building on the story, this edition showcases new Saint Seiya artwork and deeper complexity in the blend. Another 888-bottle limited run, it reflects the heroes’ growing strength and Togouchi’s signature smooth, balanced profile.

3rd Release – Trials of the Saints | A continuation of the saga, this release represents the Saints’ fiercest battles. Its vivid cosmic-themed label and evolving whisky character make it an essential piece for collectors following the narrative through both art and flavour.

4th Release – The Final Confrontation | The series reaches its zenith here—a culmination of craftsmanship and myth. This final chapter embodies victory and mastery, making it the perfect bottle to complete a full display set of the Saint Seiya quartet.

A standout in the collection, the Togouchi Single Cask Saint Seiya #2 is an ultra-limited release (520 bottles) aged in Sherry Butt No. 7084 and bottled at a bold 59% ABV. Focused on a single Saint Seiya hero, it offers rich sherry sweetness, oak depth, and a long, powerful finish—a true collector’s whisky that marries storytelling and single-cask purity.
